yes, excellent.
Vibromonk was founded late 1998 for all the hooligans out there who dare believe (like us) that music is still important enough to be recorded without "major corporate" funding used to eat lasagna while the guitar player is attempting his one thousand overdub on the next hit. Now, we do like lasagna, but after spending months in a beat up car scouring unpaved neighborhoods for a perfect place, our minds were pretty much set on getting back to laying our hands on some knobs - the bigger the better. As new neighbors to (what were then) unsuspecting sweatshops, in a vacant loft that rumor has it was a green-growing plantation, we went to work, building walls. And walls. And more walls.

Then off to Kmart, where we picked up some-o-them Neves, Telefunkens, TLAs, a beast of a board and a supafly computer. Finding an adaptable ping-pong table was a bit harder, although we did acquire one eventually. And, most importantly, leaving most of the structure and materials of the 100-year-old space in tact, we discovered that rooms age just as well as guitars and wine - leaving us with potentially immeasurable amounts of tones and sounds to explore. Joined by truly amazing artists over the years, we have helped create what is in our mind a unique palette of music that we enjoy producing each and every day, not only in Vibromonk, but on stages all over the world as well as other various locations where we can turn vision into electrical pulses.
